Jerry Lee Wynn

JERRY LEE WYNN, 82, of Nectar, Ala., entered his heavenly home on March 22, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. Jerry was born to Dill and Lucille Wynn on March 24, 1941, and the world became a bit brighter.

He married the love of his life, Cheryl Starnes, on May 11, 1963. Shortly after marriage, he was drafted into the National Guard. He also worked at Acipco for 32 years. Besides being an amazing husband and father, Jerry was also the best grandfather anyone could have asked for. He loved the outdoors; you could always find him outside gardening, fishing, hunting or in his shed working.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dill and Lucille Wynn and his brother, Dill Wynn Jr. Jerry is survived by his wife Cheryl Wynn, his children Jeffrey (Tina) Wynn, Jennifer (Joe) Kirkpatrick and Jourdan (Bobby) Thomas; his grandchildren Brandon Wynn, Kelsey Sherbert (Josh Savage), Justin Wynn, Kacey Clark, William Clark and Brody Andrew Lee Thomas; his great grand-children Ryleigh Savage and Kinsleigh Savage.

Funeral services were held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Cleveland First Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Dill and Bro. Cliff Cook presiding. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery with William Clark, Brody Thomas, Josh Savage, Mickey Tidwell, Brandon Wynn, Justin Wynn, Bobby Thomas (Honorary), and Joe Kirkpatrick (Honorary) serving as pallbearers.
