70, Altoona, died Aug. 20, 2012, at the residence. A tile contractor, Mr. Faucette served in the U.S. Army as an Army Ranger with the 82nd Airborne Division. Parents Wilburn Hiram and Fannie Frances Newton Faucett and sister Betty Yarborough predeceased him.
Surviving are wife Jennie Faucette; sons William “Bill” Montgomery, Springville, and Buzzy Faucette, Birmingham; daughters Salena Miller, Cleveland, Kim Mertz and Debbie Niemuth, both of Pell City; grandchildren Kendall Rizzo, Hannah Lombardo, Braden Montgomery, John Mertz, Amanda Belbro; brothers Joe Faucett and Homer Faucett; sister Emily.
Dave Roberts officiated the 11:30 a.m. service held Aug. 22 at Moody’s Chapel Cemetery. Joey Martin, Red Jackson, Mike Jackson, Harry Miller, Jimmy Scott, and Bill Montgomery served as pallbearers. Lemley Funeral Home directed.
