The Hayden Wildcats couldn’t stop the running game of the Curry Yellow Jackets in a 27-8 loss at Curry last Friday night.
With a homecoming crowd looking on, Curry pounded out 321 yards on the ground and added another 46 yards through the air.

The lead grew to 27-0 at the half and stayed that way until early in the fourth quarter when Hayden scored on a 14- yard touchdown pass from Reese Butts to Seth Gardner.
The Wildcats committed five turnovers in the game and turned the ball over on downs three times inside the Curry 30.
Butts finished 9 of 20 for 127 yards with one touchdown and one interception but the Wildcats managed just 209 yards of offense. Chris Duncan and Jared Hargett had two receptions each.
