Urgent Care South clinic grand opening this Saturday

Urgent Care South clinic, located on Smoke Rise Trail adjacent to Traditions bank and I-65, will hold its grand opening Saturday, June 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Refreshments will be served, a disc jockey will provide entertainment, and guests will be able to meet clinic owner and physician Dr. Mike Patton and his staff. A tour of the facility will also be provided and services provided now and planned for the future will be described.

Clinic hours for seeing patients will resume immediately after the conclusion of the open house at 2 p.m.

“I’m looking forward to meeting the people from the area, and to providing care to meet the community’s health care needs,” said Patton. “Please come by Saturday and get to know us and let us get to know you and tell you about the clinic.”

Urgent care refers to delivery of medical care outside of a hospital emergency department, often on an unscheduled, walk-in basis. Urgent care centers primarily treat patients who have an injury, illness, or condition that needs immediate attention, but is not acute enough to warrant a visit to a hospital emergency room.
