Up ‘N Comin’

Everyone in West Blount knows this by now, but for the rest of you Blount Countians, this is the new B&K Foodmart store at the intersection of Ala 160 and Deans Ferry Road – practically in downtown Hayden. It’s a pretty big deal, and it will be open sometime in November, probably by or before Thanksgiving. If there’s a race to the finish line between the B&K Foodmart, and the Jack’s Restaurant out by the interstate,

B&K’s got a big lead, but Jack’s is known as a fast finisher, and the rumors say hamburgers before Christmas, so – who knows? Back to B&K: the fuel island out front features 10 fuel pumps. The middle section of the building is the convenience store, with a Subway on the right side as you’re facing the building and another business, as yet undetermined on the left. Get a move on B&K: Hayden can’t wait!
