Two Cadence Bank branches – Snead and Cleveland – will officially be closing Thursday, Oct. 23, according to Cadence Bank marketing communications director Danielle Kernell.
The communications department released a statement from Cadence Bank’s retail banking executive Debbie Innes.
“Banking is an evolving industry, and the decision to close a branch is never an easy one,” Innes said.“The majority of the branches scheduled to close have Cadence Bank offices nearby where customers can conduct their banking business. With these closures, some associates were given the unfortunate news their positions will be eliminated. We are dedicated to helping these individuals transition either within Cadence or to positions outside the bank.”
Of the 17 Cadence Bank closings, 11 of those are in Alabama, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.
