Turning a dream into a reality

After being involved in a head-on collision in 2017, and enduring some significant injuries, Keahley Crabtree was unable to return to her previous employment.

Crabtree said she knew that she could not “just sit around” and wanted to find something productive to with her time. She prayed and asked God, “to send me a direction you want me to go.”

Soon after that prayer, Crabtree had an actual dream of operating a children’s boutique. God had given her this sign, and her prayer had been answered.

Plans were quickly put in place to begin construction for her new venture. Last Saturday, that dream became a reality as Kiwi’s Kuties Boutique and More held its grand opening.

Located just outside Oneonta at 516 County Highway 36, the children’s boutique offers quite a selection of new clothing and accessories for boys and girls ranging from newborn to size 10-12.

Crabtree said the store’s collection includes clothing, shoes, purses, hats, socks, and blankets. She described the boutique as having a rustic, yet uptown look. The building trim was hand-cut and stained.

The boutique is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, follow the Kiwi’s Kuties and More Facebook page or contact Crabtree at 446-2185.

Excited about this new direction in her life, Crabtree says, “Come out and see the wide variety of clothing and accessories.”
