Travis Clements

TRAVIS CLEMENTS, 85, Locust Fork, died July 21, 2021. He was a member of Locust Fork Baptist Church, an avid Alabama football fan, and loved to study history. He served as a U.S. Marine aboard the USS Lake Champlaine in Italy for four years. Predeceasing him were parents Jack and Ellen Green Clements and siblings Nellie Jackson, Billy Clements, Dalton Clements, Ronald Clements, and Buddy Clements.

Surviving are wife of 64 years Margie Rene Sullivan Clements; children Marie Clements, Norman (Shelia) Clements, Diane (Jim) Latham; grandchildren James (Jamie) Latham, Brad (Amber) Deaver, Dustin Deaver, Adam Clements, Brittany (Zac) Marsh, Kaitlyn Clements; great-grandchildren Morgan Latham, Alivia Watkins, Cash Watkins, Jack Marsh, Sam Marsh, Eli Deaver.

A private family service was held July 24 at Lemley Funeral Home. Burial followed at Clements Cemetery with Adam Clements, James Latham, Zac Marsh, Danny Sullivan, Brad Deaver, and Dustin Deaver serving as pallbearers.
