Town of Blountsville calls emergency meeting

The Mayor and Council of the Town of Blountsville have called a special emergency meeting for 4 p.m. Friday, March 20, at Blountsville Town Hall, for the purpose of adopting a resolution declaring a town-wide state of emergency, approving and authorizing necessary budget amendments, the necessary emergency actions regarding COVID-19, and any other business that may come before the town council.

Anyone wishing to participate in the meeting is asked to call Town Hall at 205-429-2406 to make necessary arrangements. Officials are working to find a safe way to make the meeting available to the public.
