TLC Nursing Center and Rehabilitation in Oneonta once again received a five-star rating given by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) who developed the rating system to assist consumers, caregivers, and families to easily compare nursing homes. Facilities throughout the U.S. must submit data to CMS that address various areas of care provided. Facilities are ranked on a one-to-five scale. Nursing homes with five stars are considered to have above-average quality.
TLC provides long term care, rehabilitation services, and a therapy staff experienced with physical, speech, and occupational therapy. Short-term stays are not uncommon as clients work to rehabilitate and return to home after surgeries such as hip and knee replacements. They also offer IV therapy, behavioral management, wound and skin care, podiatry, and vision care.
