‘This is one way for us to say “Thank you” to all the folks in the community who have supported our work throughout the year. We depend heavily on individuals, churches, civic clubs, and others to help us pay the bills. It takes the support of the whole community for us to provide help, hope, and healing for child abuse victims and their caregivers.
Last year, our agency provided help in 154 new child abuse cases. Plus we conducted 230 child-abuse prevention classes in our area schools, provided 1,021 hours of professional therapy to victims and their families, and we helped provide Christmas for 75 of our needy clients. So you see, we get a lot done with the help of our supporters – and we like to take this chance to thank them – and shake their hands or hug their necks.’
