On Sunday, Dec. 13, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Turning Point United Methodist Church in Locust Fork will travel back in time to Bethlehem and recreate the scenes from the birth of Jesus.
Visitors to the free event will experience a 15-minute guided tour and will encounter townspeople in the market, prophets in the synagogue, shepherds with their livestock, and the imposing Imperial Roman Army.
“We are aiming to bring to life the true meaning of Christmas,” says Turning Point pastor Cam Price.“We want people to interact with the townspeople and the Roman government while also getting a chance to sample the food from that time period and see the living Nativity.”
Turning Point UMC is located at 337 Tabernacle Road in Locust Fork. For more information email Price at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 205- 675-8584.
