Susan Moore and Oneonta girls ranked in ASWA poll


In the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association poll, Susan Moore’s Lady Bulldogs are ranked second in Class 3A, while the Oneonta Lady Redskins come in at number eight in 4A.

Blount County Schools’ principals, athletic directors, and coaches meet today to set the brackets for the Blount County Basketball Tournament, which starts this Saturday, Jan. 16. Format follows the junior high tournament with Cleveland hosting the girls tournament and J.B. Pennington hosting the boys.
