Springville man arrested on child pornography charges



Jeremiah Christian King, 32, of Springville, was arrested last week on nine counts of possession of child pornography and nine counts of dissemination/display of child pornography, according to a press release from Blount County District Attorney Pamela Casey.

King was arrested by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) after agents and the Blount County District Attorney’s Office served search warrants on Wednesday, May 8, at King’s Blount County residence.

As of Tuesday, King was being held in the Blount County Correctional Facility with bond set at $1.8 million.
