ALABAMA AVENGERS, A SEMI-PRO FOOTBALL TEAM, is looking for the oldest living high school football player in the county. These men will be honorary captains for the team’s first three home games during the upcoming season. The team has several promotions scheduled for the upcoming season, including Letterman Jacket Day on Feb. 27 when anyone wearing a letterman’s jacket will be admitted to the game at half price. Advance tickets are now on sale. Season tickets are $30 for six home games; tickets at the gate will be $8 each and children 10-and-under will be admitted free. SOUTHEASTERN YOUTH RECREATION ASSOCIATION has reformed and will hold registration for baseball at Southeastern School at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27. Cost is $110 – and uniforms are included.
