SUSAN MOORE TOUCHDOWN CLUB is selling chances to win a John Deere Gator. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased from any booster club member.

BLOUNTSVILLE YOUTH FOOTBALL REGISTRATION is underway. Players at Blountsville Elementary (or those homeschooled in the area) in grades one through six can register at town hall, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. SNEAD STATE FALL BASEBALL LEAGUE is now accepting registration. The league is open to high school baseball players in grades 9-12 and all games are played in late August and September. There will be six teams with 12 players each and the teams will be coached by Snead State players. Registration is $120 and provides game T-shirts, helmet usage, baseballs, umpires, instruction and use of facilities. All participants must sign a waiver, have an updated physical, and copy of insurance card with the registration form and registration must be complete by Monday, Aug. 17. SNEAD STATE BASEBALL TEAM FUNDRAISER golf tournament will be Saturday, Aug. 29, at Big Spring Lake Golf Course in Albertville. The three-man scramble format will tee off at 8 a.m. and entry fee is $75 per player. There will be prizes for longest drive and closest to the pin and cash prizes paid for the top three teams.
