The Southeastern Mustangs raced out to a 34-0 halftime lead and never looked back in a convincing 41-21, homecoming victory over the Brilliant Tigers last Friday.
The Eagles relied on a big night from the running game to pound the Tigers, finishing the night with 376 yards and five touchdowns on just 43 carries.
Seth Wadsworth ran by the Tiger defense all night long and finished with 198 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 carries.
Avery Jones added 94 yards on 10 carries while Jacob Robertson rushed for 37 yards on five attempts, Alex Mann had five carries for 31 yards and Kevin Juhola rushed for 30 yards on eight attempts.
Wadsworth attempted just four passes, completing three, including a 31-yard scoring strike to Robertson.
Defensively, Juhola, Mitchell Young, Austin Lee and Dylan Thomas had six tackles each to lead the Mustangs. Thomas, Juhola and Lee each had fumble recoveries.
The Mustangs had seven tackles for loss on the night.
Southeastern (1-4 overall, 0-2 in 1A Region 7) returns to region play this week and will host Lynn (6-0, 3-0) this Friday night.
