50, Clay, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. Born in Chicago, Ill., he was son of the late Carl Wayne and Ellie Delores Elgin Prince. He was a fork lift operator who later became disabled. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a nephew, Phillip Ray Blackmon, and a niece, Joyce Leann Barlow.

Surviving are sisters Donna (Mike) Gray, Locust Fork, Sharon ( Jesse) Fraga, Elkhart Lake, Wis., Karen ( John) Manley, Clay, Barbara (Chuck) Barlow, Irondale, and Carla Williams, Blountsville; and brother Roger Prince, Gardendale.

Jeff Knowles conducted funeral services at 1 p.m. on Dec. 30, with interment in the Hopewell Cemetery in Pinson. Pallbearers were Tommy Barlow, Chuck Barlow III, Mitchell Gray Jr., Scotty Mooneyham, Clint Mooneyham, and Nick Barranco.
