Robbie Frank Bryan

ROBBIE FRANK BRYAN, 82, Susan Moore, died Sept. 6, 2020, at St. Vincent’s Downtown, Birmingham. He was a member of Antioch Church of Christ. He served in the National Guard. He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber with 30 years service. He was instrumental in organizing Susan Moore Volunteer Fire Department. He was a firefighter for as long as his health allowed. He worked to get Susan Moore incorporated to a town. He served as a councilman on the first town council. He had a passion for preserving history and antiques. After retirement, he organized and displayed his collection into a museum known as the Cabbage Patch Museum. He was a member of the Crossroad Cruisers Car Club. He was very patriotic and enjoyed riding as a veteran in the Memorial Day Parade.

Predeceasing him were parents Riley T. and Oma Scruggs Bryan and sister Peggy Jenkins. Surviving are his wife of 49 years Sandra Bryan; daughter Sonya (Danny) Smith; sons Christopher Chad Bryan and Keith (Shauna) Bryan; grandchildren Leah (Zac) Nichols and Marisa Bryan.

John Gaines officiated the 2 p.m. graveside service held Sept. 9 at Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery in Snead. Lemley Funeral Home directed.
