Reindeer carry kisses

Residents of TLC Nursing Center were delighted yesterday with the delivery of whimsical cross-stitched reindeer faces, each holding a Hershey’s kiss. They were creations of the women of Calvary Episcopal Church, whose ECW president Pat Clanton and member Frances Sellers collected yarn, squares, glue, eyes, and pipe cleaners and issued them to members for prayer and stitching. After hours of loving work, they presented them to the residents Dec. 14, an early Christmas greeting. Calvary Episcopal, the only congregation of that denomination in the county, is at 1002 Park Avenue, Oneonta, where it welcomes all comers of whatever denomination.
