Fish Taco


½ cup mayo
½ cup sour cream
2 chipotle peppers in adobo
2 garlic gloves, minced
1 tsp oregano
juice of 3 small Mexican limes
1 tsp salt

Finely chop the chipotle peppers. Finely crumble the oregano with your fingers. Mix all ingredients and refrigerate so the flavors can meld together.

After a deep-sea fishing trip one year in Louisiana, I brought fresh tuna to the office that we cooked and made fish tacos for lunch. I made this fish taco sauce to go with them. While fresh tuna is amazing on its own, this sauce made it even more amazing. You’ll want to double the recipe because we found that it’s good on everything, not just fish tacos. When this recipe is published, I will once again be on a boat off the coast of Louisiana fishing. So the girls at the office can expect some fresh fish tacos with this sauce for lunch next week!
