Recipe Corner

 

 

This is great served over buttered egg noodles or rice.

Crockpot Cube Steak

2 lbs. cube steak
2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 large onion, sliced
1 packet onion soup mix
1 c. beef broth
¼ cup water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Place all ingredients except the water and cornstarch in a crockpot. Cook on low for 8 hours. One hour before you are ready to serve, mix the cold water and cornstarch in a small bowl and stir into crockpot. Cook on high until gravy has thickened, stirring periodically.
