Crack Bread


1 loaf sourdough bread, sliced
1 block sharp cheddar cheese, thinly
1 large bag real bacon bits
1 stick butter
1 pack ranch dressing mix

Lay bread slices on a lined cookie sheet. Melt butter and stir in ranch dressing mix. Spoon mixture over bread slices. Cover the bread with cheese slices and then bacon bits. Bake at 350 degrees until the cheese is melted and the bread is slightly browned.

Last week I introduced Aimee to one of our office favorites…crack bread. It received her full approval. Everyone loves me on days that I make it. I never have a choice on what to bring to an office party. They immediately sign me up to make crack bread.
