Reader agrees that 'Museum needs space'

We are nonresidents of Blount County. We grew up there and have been longtime subscribers of The Blount Countian. It is articles such as that named above that retain our loyalty to your paper.

I graduated from BCHS in 1941 and my wife did also in 1943. We try to go by the Museum every time that we come to Oneonta. Your appreciation of the Museum as being an attractive and interesting place to visit is commendable.

We are pleasantly surprised by the new and changing displays. The Curator is certainly to be commended for her civic and patriotic endeavors. Blount County has always been a civic-minded community. Ms. Rhudy has helped to engender a bit more enthusiasm in that respect.

We are in complete agreement with your recommendations as to expansion of the facility. There is no other attraction in Blount County that could be more attractive to tourists.

Thank you for recognizing such a magnificent asset to your county.
