Just so you know, it’s illegal to violate the no-burn order. Illegal to set fire to any forest, grass, woods, wildlands, or marshes. Illegal to build a campfire or bonfire. Illegal to burn trash or debris – or any other material that may cause a forest, grass, or woods fire. Prescribed burns are illegal. The penalty for violating the no-burn order is a fine of up to $500 and/or up to six months in jail. To report violations, call the law. Enough said?
