Ragland handles Southeastern



The Ragland Purple Devils made quick work of Southeastern with a 41-0 win last Friday night at Locust Fork.

The Ragland defense never let the Southeastern offense get going. The Mustangs managed just 46 yards rushing and completed 1 of 8 passes with four interceptions.

Justin Bolden led the Mustangs with 25 yards on five carries.

The Southeastern defense was led by Kevin Grubbs, who finished with 12 tackles, including one for loss, and a forced fumble. Mauris Zamora had 10 tackles, including a tackle for loss. Cole Garner had seven tackles, one for loss, and a fumble recovery and Justin Grubbs had seven tackles.

Southeastern dropped to 0-3 overall and 0-3 in 1A Region 6. The Mustangs will travel to Holy Spirit this week.
