The teams for the upcoming 60th AHSAA North- South All-Star Football Game have been selected and were released last week. Four players from Blount County made the roster. The teams consist of 2019 graduating seniors.
Quarterback Noah Allison from J.B. Pennington and Oneonta’s Brandon Howard (wide receiver), Taveris Hill (defensive back), and Jaden Warren (defensive back) were among the 37 members chosen to play for the North.
The North has a four-game winning streak after last year’s 27-14 win. Even with the streak, the South holds a slight edge with 30 wins while the North has 27. The teams have tied twice. The North-South game will be held at Montgomery’s Cramton Bowl on Friday, July 19, at 7 p.m. It will be live streamed by the NFHS Network and broadcast by the AHSAA Radio Network.
