PEGGIE ANN CHAMBERS PRESLEY, 74, Cottageville, W.V., died Feb. 13, 2015, at the residence. Born in Selfville, she attended Locust Fork High School, Opelika Business College, and Morris Harvey College in Charleston. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service, where she worked as a postmaster and trainer, was a former member of the Jackson County Junior Women’s Club, recognized for her help with the mentally ill. She also volunteered at Lakin Hospital and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church for 48 years and the United Methodist Women. Brothers Travis Price and Edward Leroy Chambers predeceased her, as did sister Nila Mae Stewart.

Surviving are husband of 54 years James C. Presley; daughters Kelli Hall, Cottageville, W.V.; Joanna Stanfield, Pinson; grandchildren Katelin Wines, Amanda Wines, Brody Wines, Kayla Stanfield, Rachel Stanfield; greatgrandchildren Presley Wines, Harley Wines; sisters Mary Jo Markum, Rebecca Cornelius, both of Huffman, Martha Aderholt, Pelham.

John Hardman officiated the private graveside service held at Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, W.V. Memorial donations to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd., W., Charleston, WV 25387- 2536 are suggested. Casto Funeral Home, Evans, W.V., directed.
