PAUL DEAN CRANE, 83, Hayden, died Nov. 3, 2019. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a pharmacist at Gilmore Drug Company in Ensley for years, a member of the Alabama Pharmaceutical Association, and a dedicated member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Predeceasing him were parents John Irving Sr. and Era Crane and brothers George Crane, J.I. Crane, and Leyland Crane.
Surviving are wife of 58 years Carolyn Crawford Crane; son Richard Dean (Mary) Crane; daughter Paula (Michael) Dehart; sister Billie (Bill) Johnson; grandchildren Rebecca (Dan) Brandt, Richard Joseph Crane, Lydia Dehart, Daniel Dehart; great-grandchildren Colten Konetzske, Ian Thomas Brandt; brother-in-law David (Linda) Crawford; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Nov. 5, at 2 p.m., at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home directed.
