Oneonta votes

The signs outside the Frank Green Building tell the tale as residents of the city of Oneonta went to the polls yesterday to vote on a proposed 9 mil property tax increase with the money earmarked for Oneonta City Schools. The referendum has generated much debate and, in some cases, animosity as supporters for and against the increase have been very vocal in their feelings. Polls were open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the results were not available as we went to press.
