Oneonta Fire Department ‘blacks out’ breast cancer

The Oneonta Fire Department is continuing to support breast cancer awareness for the second year by wearing breast cancer awareness shirts while on duty throughout September. Next Monday, Sept. 17, the shirts, size small to XXXL, can be purchased at Oneonta City Hall for $15. This year, the department’s theme is “Black Out Breast Cancer,” so the shirts are black with pink detail. The fundraiser is sponsored by the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.
