CHEROKEE/NATIVE AMERICAN FESTIVAL will be this weekend at 3550 Creek Path Road, Guntersville. Friday, April 15, is children’s day with free admission. Events include exhibition dancing, singing, crafts, story tellers, flute playing, archery, and flintknapping. Admission Saturday, April 16, is $5 adults and $3 children/seniors. Gates open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. with dancing, drumming, demonstrations, grand entry from noon until 7 p.m., and bonfire and story telling at dark-thirty. Admission Sunday, April 17, is also $5 adults and $3 children/seniors. Gates open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. with the public welcome. Grand entry is from noon until 5 p.m.
