MEMORIAL HIKE TO CORNELIUS FALLS The Friends of the Locust Fork River will have a moderate-difficulty, onehour hike to Cornelius Falls. Bring a brown bag lunch and swimwear. BLOUNT COUNTY RESCUE SQUAD is conducting a fundraising drive to raise money for operating expenses and to purchase a new emergency vehicle. The volunteers ask that each household in Blount County donate $40 so this life saving service may continue. All donations are needed and appreciated. All donors will receive a free 10-x-13 family portrait.
