ORGANIC WORKSHOP The Extension office will conduct an Organic Workshop on Tuesday, April 17, at the Frank Green Building auditorium in Oneonta. The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. and will feature speakers from Auburn University, ASAN, Extension System, and NRCS. The $10 fee for the program includes lunch, and those interested must turn in registration forms by April 13 to the Extension office. Contact 274-2129 with questions.

KING AND QUEEN OF SPRING PAGEANT will be held Saturday, April 28, at 6 p.m. in the Douglas Middle School lunch room. The divisions will be boys birth to 3 year old, and girls birth through 12th grade. Contestants can register until the day of the pageant. All photogenic entries must be turned in by 5:15 p.m. The entry fee is $30, most photogenic is $10, and there are discounts for additional children in the family. All proceeds benefit the Douglas basketball teams. Entry forms can be picked up at Douglas Middle School, Klein Drug Shoppe in Snead, or printed from the school website.
