LOCUST FORK BAND BOOSTERS will host “Best of the 80s” lip sync contest Saturday, Feb. 18, to raise money for the Emerald Night Marching Band. Admission is $5, and the show starts at 4 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Door prizes will be given away.

AMERICAN LEGION POST #72 will hold the regular monthly meeting Feb. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Frank Green Building, 415 5th Ave. East.

MISS FELIDAE SOUP AND CHILI SUPPER will be Feb. 18, from 4:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the J.B. Pennington lunchroom. The meal is $6 and includes soup or chili, bread, dessert, and drink. The pageant begins at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.

STOP WILL PROVIDE FREE FEMALE SPAYS when litters are surrendered to BCASI. Rabies included, local vets. Phone 680-0701.

HOME BUILDERS SCHOLARSHIPS are offered to students who wish to study the building trades at any two-or four-year or technical school in Alabama. This includes brick masonry, carpentry, roofing, electrical technology, and HVAC. High school seniors and college students are urged to apply.
