ONEONTA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION The 17th annual June Fling will be Saturday, June 2. The fifth annual Singing Showdown will also be that weekend. The preliminary round for 18-older is June 1 at 6 p.m., preliminary round for age 10-17 will be Saturday, June 2, at 9 a.m., and finals for both categories will be June 2 at 1 p.m. Cash prizes of $500, $250, $100, and the grand prize of a recording session at Analog on Third will be awarded. CHAPTER 28 DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS The Blount County group has a service office at 1004 2nd Street East, Oneonta, open each Monday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The Hayden office is open 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each Friday at Hayden Town Hall.
