ONEONTA PUBLIC LIBRARY The movie ‘Wonder Woman’ will be shown Thursday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m.

Mari Brindle will conduct a seminar on lacto-fermenting, the ancient method of food preservation, on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. BLOUNT COUNTY SOLAR HOMES TOUR will be Saturday, Oct. 7, and Sunday, Oct. 8. The five-home guided tour is offered in the Royal community and features homes that are both energy efficient and use solar technologies that are clean and renewable. 4-H FALL PAPER CLOVER CAMPAIGN Tractor Supply will continue the partnership with National 4-H Council until Oct. 15. At checkout, customers may purchase a clover for $1 (or more) and proceeds will help fund scholarships that send in-state 4- H youth to camps, conferences, and development programs where they learn about diverse subjects such as animal care to civic leadership.

BLOUNT COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT will hold a flu clinic on Monday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., in the Community Room at the health department.
