SUSAN MOORE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL will hold new student and kindergarten registration tomorrow, July 21, from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. To register, students must have a birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of residency, and certificate of immunization (blue slip).

CLEVELAND HIGH SCHOOL will hold new student registration on Thursday, July 28, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. To register, the parent must bring the student along with proof of residency, birth certificate, Social Security card, certificate of immunization, withdrawal paperwork from previous school, and legal custody paperwork if applicable. BIRDS OF BLOUNT COUNTY The Blount County Extension office is offering a Lunch and Learn program on the birds of Blount County on Tuesday, Aug. 2 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at the Frank Green Building Auditorium. WALLACE STATE ONEONTA CAMPUS will have an information session on Friday, July 22, at 10 a.m. at the Oneonta location. The meeting is for those interested in the four-week CDL class program. GALLANT COMMUNITY CENTER will have a yard sale Saturday, July 23, from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the center. The event, sponsored by the Gallant Homemakers and community leaders, will benefit the Gallant Volunteer Fire Department.

AMERICAN LEGION LADIES AUXILLARY will have the monthly bluegrass singing on Saturday, July 23, at 7 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Blountsville. Admission is $3 per person, $5 per couple and homemade chicken and dumplings and other food will be available for purchase.
