RIVER TALES PROJECT Tomorrow, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m., at the museum, Alabama folklorist Joyce Cauthen will introduce a new project and begin training interviewers to collect and preserve local stories to archive and use for celebrations of all kinds. Volunteers will record the stories from social events, grist mills, covered bridges, adventures, floods, those who have grown up near the river, and more, to be available for school programs and research.
