Local Drive-In Theatre Remodels

The Blount Drive-In Theatre closed on April 1st in order that extensive repairs and remodeling could be taken care of before the summer season. The drive-in will reopen with a new name, “The Sky-Vue”, on Friday, May 20th.

Suspect Jailed In J.R. King Murder

Clint Townley of Oneonta has been charged in the death of James Robert King, 79, of Center Community on Route 3, Oneonta. The victim’s battered body was found on the bank of the Little Warrior Creek about 2 a.m. Friday, May 27th.
