Southeastern demolished Brindlee Mountain 60-0 behind a dominant rushing performance and smothering defense. The Mustangs racked up 327 yards rushing on 38 attempts, more than 8.6 yards every time they ran the ball. Mason Golden had 103 yards on only seven carries and found the end zone twice. Jordan Graham also ran the ball seven times for 89 yards. Kevin Juhola, Justin Pendleton, Trent Carpenter and Jacorreon Pendelton each scored rushing touchdowns.

The Mustang’s defense was equally impressive allowing only six rushing yards and 18 passing yards. Brindlee Mountain only had two first downs the entire game. Mitchell Young recovered a fumble and ran it in for a defensive score. Jaccorreon Pendleton collected two tackles for loss and recovered two fumbles. Hayes Massey and Jordan Graham each had an interception.

Southeastern will host Cold Springs for their first home game this Friday.
