Southeastern took on the Brindlee Mountain Lions Friday, clinching an easy 49-0 victory.

Trent Carpenter went 3-for-4 for 70 yards and one interception, while running for 65 yards and two touchdowns. Mason Golden rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns, as well as returning a punt 70 yards for a third touchdown. Kevin Juhola had six carries for 53 yards and a touchdown.

Up front, Omar Uriostegui enabled the Mustangs’ rushing attack by blocking 94 percent on his assignments and recording seven pancake blocks. Ben Hall, Cole Williams, and Kane Legget all recorded an interception, Legget returning his for a touchdown. Juhola and Legget also recorded a sack each. Jacorreon Pendleton recorded three tackles and recovered a fumble.

The Mustangs even their record at 1-1. This week, they hope to add another win as they travel to take on Cold Springs Friday at 7 p.m.
