Louis ‘Jack’ Hazelrig

LOUIS ‘JACK’ HAZELRIG, 88, Hayden, died March 14, 2020, at TLC Nursing and Rehab Center in Oneonta. He had worked at ICC in Erie, Ill., on the farm, and with the State Highway Department. Predeceasing him were parents Ollie and Gladys Hazelrig, brothers Revis Hazelrig, Virgle Hazelrig, and Paul Hazelrig.

Surviving are brother Marvin Hazelrig of Cleveland; sisters Phyllis (Joe) Grigsby of Cleveland, Syble (Joe) Brindley of Oneonta, Carolyn (Bobby) Butts of Blountsville, Bettie (Charles) Little of Atlanta, and Sandra Edwards of Arab; daughter Lisa (Allen) Rounds of Meridianville; grandsons A.C. and Austin; a host of nieces and nephews.

Stanley Freeman officiated a graveside service held March 17 at Green’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Scott Butts, Charles Little Jr., Andy Brindley, John McRae, Austin Hazelrig, and Mike Hazelrig. Honorary pallbearers were John and Mason McRae. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home directed.
