Twenty-seven students attended the second annual law camp last Wednesday. During the camp, Judge John Dobson and members of the Oneonta Police Department, Blount County Sheriff’s Office, Alabama Department of Public Safety, and the District Attorney’s Office spoke with the students. Attendees also got to check out the Department of Public Safety helicopter and the department’s roll-over simulator to address seatbelt safety. Additionally, students got to experience a drug dog demonstration, special-ops equipment, Oneonta Police Department vehicles, and fingerprinting and DNA samples that they were able to take home.
