LARRY E. CASEY, age 73, Oneonta, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021. He was born Aug. 20, 1947, in Etowah County, to the late Grady and Nell Blair Casey. Larry served two tours during the Vietnam Conflict in the U.S. Army. When he was able to retire from the jewelry business, he was able to do what he loved the most, farming. Larry was the happiest being outdoors and doing different things, especially when he and Brian had many joyous hunting trips, Lori with working and farming together, and Jason always on hand to help. He was happy being with the family whether it was at a sporting event or just needing some help.
He is survived by his wife Pat Casey; children Brian (Apryl) Casey, Lori (Jason) Holmes, and Kevin Casey; grandchildren Conner, Chayse, Caylee, and Carley Thomas; sister Dorothy “Dot” Baker; brother Jerry (Brenda) Casey; niece Susan (Waller) May; great-nephews Thomas, Samuel, and John May.
