JIMMY LEE HIBBS,



78, Susan Moore, died Feb. 29, 2012, at the residence. He was predeceased by parents John and Nina Wiggins Hibbs and six siblings. He was a devoted member and chairman of deacons at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, director of marketing and sales for Tucker Milling in Guntersville, and served in the U.S. Navy.

Surviving are wife Faye Todd Hibbs; daughters Cindi Hibbs (David) McKinney, Boaz, Pam Wallace ( Joel) Laird, New Market, and Nina Hibbs, Birmingham; son Randy (Kim) Hibbs, Susan Moore; grandchildren Shannon McKinney, Neal (April) McKinney, Miranda (Erik) Emanuel, Shay (Brandon) Perryman, Clint Wallace, Clay Hibbs, Jacob McCormic, Dale Chapin; 11 great-grandchildren.

Bobby Hullett officiated the service March 4, at 2 p.m., held at Mr. Hibbs’ church. Burial was at Marshall Memorial Gardens with Shannon McKinney, Erik Emanuel, Clint Wallace, Brandon Perryman, Clay Hibbs, John Seaton, and George Purpura Sr. serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Dale Chapin and Manning Burke. Snead Funeral Home directed.
