It’s Constitution Week

As Warrior Rivers DAR member Jane Longshore looks on, Probate Judge David Standridge signs a proclamation that this is Constitution Week in Blount County. The DAR invites the public to a special meeting Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 3 p.m. in the Woodmen of the World building, when District Attorney Pamela Casey will speak on the Constitution. The local DAR chapter invites you to take a look at the Constitution displays in the Blount County Memorial Museum and in the county courthouse and to take a moment this week to read and learn something new about this amazing document and to reflect on this country’s great heritage of freedom.
