80, died Feb. 28, 2012, at the Horton residence. He was predeceased by parents Rufus and Nora Kemp NeSmith; daugher Donna Kay Sundburg; son Gary Max NeSmith; brothers Vineoy and Dwight NeSmith; sisters Maxine Copeland and Mattie Faye Jarrett. He was a longtime member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include wife Martha Willene NeSmith; son Ronald Wayne (Brenda) NeSmith, McClarty; daughter Patricia Ann (Lynn) King, Highmound; grandchildren Crystal (Chad) Arden, Adam NeSmith, Amie (Chris) Hart, Jacob King, Jenna (Heath) McKay; great-grandchildren Amber Rewis and Kaydence McKay; brother Hubert ( Jeweldean) NeSmith; sisters Jewel Black and Mozell Southerland; special friend Will White.
Glenn Stewart and Robbie Burtram officiated the service held at Mr. NeSmith’s church March 2, at 11 a.m. Burial was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Chad Arden, Tom Sundburg, Chris Hart, Jacob King, Adam NeSmith, and Lynn King serving as pallbearers.
