IMA LOU REEVES, 89, Snead, died Oct. 31, 2017, at the residence. Predeceasing her were husband Hobert Alvin Reeves, children Jackie Dean Reeves, Sarah Lou Massey, Patricia Gail Smith, Janet Rebecca Battles, parents Allen and Eula Laminack, sister Wanda Deweese, and brothers Earl Wayne Laminack, and John Allen Laminack.
Surviving are sons Johnnie (Rhonda) Reeves, Snead, James Arnold (Betty) Reeves, Straight Mountain; daughters Joan Estell Brothers, Chandler Mountain, Brenda Sue Irvin, Snead, Florance Ann (Donny) Chambless, Altoona, Shelley Chambless, Walnut Grove; daughter-in-law Janice Reeves, Attalla; 26 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother Leroy (Bea) Laminack, Springville; sisters Leanett (Vernon) Allen, Blountsville, Levon (Jerrel) Jordon, Attalla; brother-in-law Wayne Deweese, Gadsden; sisters-in-law Peggy Laminack, Arab, Bonita Laminack, Susan Moore.
Bill Rucker and Alvin Turner officiated the 11 a.m. service held Nov. 2 at Union Grove #2 Church, Snead, with burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Straight Mountain. Serving as pallbearers were Michael Smith, A.J. Hansard, Bubba Hansard, Jeremiah Smith, Taylor Reeves, and Cody Scott. Snead Funeral Home directed.
