Howard Dewaine Boatright



HOWARD DEWAINE BOATRIGHT, 73, Oneonta, died July 15, 2017, at the residence. Formerly of Locust Fork, he was a member and Sunday school teacher at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. After retiring from Meadowcraft Inc., as a quality control supervisor, he often ministered to area nursing homes. He enjoyed golf and Alabama football. Parents Robert Ralph and Rosie Lee Boatright predeceased him, as did brothers Rayburn Boatright and Bobby Boatright, and grandson Jeffrey Kiley.

Surviving are wife Judy Marsh Lewis Boatright; sons Mike (Lynn) Boatright, Tommy Washburn, Jamie (Wendy) Washburn; daughter Monica ( Johnny) Cleveland; brothers Earl Boatright, Larry (Pam) Boatright; sister Barbara (Travis) Jolly; grandchildren Devin (Andrea) Boatright, Samantha Boatright, Trey Washburn, Jared Washburn, Connor Cleveland, Jackson Cleveland, Zoie Cleveland, Bentlie Cleveland; greatgrandchildren Sadie Joy Boatright, Harper Kay Boatright.

Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. on July 17 at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Garden City Cemetery.
